Groups
Groups are a great way to controlling the privacy of who sees a favour that you post. To create a group all you have to do is:
- Go to your MyIcancanu
- Click on the Groups tab
- Create your Group
- Invite your friends
It’s as easy as that. Once you have created your group you can then choose to post favour requests only to members of that group.
Here are some examples of groups that some of our members have created:
Architectural answers
A place where professionals from the construction industry, such as Architects, Engineers and Builders can exchange expertise and information.
Book club
Read, review and share books with your friends.
Hey Neighbour
Share equipment, time and advice with your local community. Need a lawnmower? Maybe one of your neighbours next door can abide?
My house-sitting friends
When you go away on holiday it is always nice to have someone that you trust to check up on things. Need your plants watered?
Sunny south London
Join your friends in discovering London South of the River. Enjoy fine dining, historic walks, groovy music and stunning art displays south of the Thames.
Southwest coastal path
Join your friends for a walk along this spectacular 630 mile trail around the western tip of England. Starting at Minehead in Somerset, and finishing in Poole in Dorset you can get some exercise whilst enjoying amazing views. This is also a good opportunity to enjoy the magical ales of the West Country.
North Wales buddies
Looking for relaxing getaways from the Big Smoke? Your North Wales buddies might be able to shed some light on the untapped wonders of Wales. Local knowledge rules!
Stockwell dinner party
Forget ‘Come Dine With Me’. Why not exchange new recipes, cooking tips and enjoy the culinary delights with your local community. All you have to do is bring a fine bottle of wine to compliment the meal!
DVD box-set swaps
Can you tell the good guys from the baddies in The Wire? And are the Cylons really so menacing in Battlestar Galactica? Why not share your DVD box sets with your friends?
Clothing swap party
Is that shirt that you received for Christmas too big? Do you need a new suit? Forget Oxford Street. A Clothes Swap Party might be a more fun way to shop with your friends – at home.
